Game Day Updates: Red Wings at Stars

So yesterday folks in Dallas expected Jamie Benn to miss another game. Today? Different story.

So much for the Wings catching a break there. If they’re going to take down the Stars, they’re going to have to take them down with one of the top Stars in the lineup. Antti Niemi was the first goalie off the ice for Dallas this morning. He’s expected to start tonight.

The Red Wings held an optional skate this morning. Petr Mrazek is getting the start in net and Tomas Tatar is expected to be good to go. Because it was optional, there were no updated line combos. The combinations below are just speculation and we won’t know exactly until warmups. I wouldn’t be shocked to see Steve Ott get back in the lineup.

Update: This has been confirmed by Ken Holland
