Game Day Updates: Red Wings vs Flames

Credit: Sergei Belski-USA TODAY Sports

Get those coffee makers ready, folks. We’ve got a late night ahead of us.

The Red Wings come into Calgary on the heels of a gutsy shootout win against the Edmonton Oilers. The Flames recently put together one of those “hockey trades” that brought Joel Farabee and Morgan Frost to their lineup. It’s a tough matchup, but a winnable game for the Wings no doubt.

The lineup I have posted here may end up being wrong. Patrick Kane and JT Compher have travelled with the team and have a chance to play, but Compher is less likely according to Todd McLellan.

This is game one of a back-to-back for Detroit. Vancouver is next up on the bill with puck drop set for 8:00 PM ET tomorrow.
