The Red Wings are staring at a handful of winnable games over the next week or so, and that starts tonight in Philadelphia against the 13-12-4 Flyers. You know the drill with these games in the City of Brotherly Love — the Wings historically have not performed well in this arena, and Philly has several players that are absolutely lethal, like rookie Matvei Michkov.
Christian Fischer is expected to be in the lineup while Tyler Motte will be a healthy scratch. Albert Johansson will also play over Justin Holl. Goaltending is a game-time decision. We expect Cam Talbot to make his return from injury tonight, but if he can’t go it will be Ville Husso tending net for Detroit.
