Game Day Updates: Red Wings vs Sharks

I typically don’t like to say a game is a “must-win” in the month of November, but here today on the eighteenth of November in the year 2024, I am saying that tonight’s game in San Jose is a must-win for the Red Wings. The Sharks are arguably the worst team in the NHL and would normally be marked as an “easy two points” but that’s not the case here. Can you tell that I am feeling shaky about this team?

We got a promising update as it relates to Simon Edvinsson’s health — Red Wings dot com Insider Jonathan Mills reported both Edvinsson and Michael Rasmussen are expected to play, but it will be a game-time decision. Detroit recalled defenseman William Lagesson this afternoon, likely as some insurance.

There’s also our old friend Jake Walman, who is in San Jose’s lineup tonight. Okay! Good chat. Whatever whenever whoever please just get home with at least two points.
