How to watch Wednesday’s World Cup of Hockey 2016 games: Dylan Larkin, Team North America face big opponent in Team Sweden

Tonight, Team North America enters a must-win situation against one of the top teams in their crop. They will square up with Team Sweden, who is surely more of a challenging opposition than Team Russia, who just bested them on Monday night.

Team Europe is already in the semi-final, so just sit back and have fun with that one. I’m sure Canada will. Here’s how to watch today’s events:

Wednesday, Sept. 21

Team North America vs. Team Sweden, 3 p.m.
TV Broadcast:  ESPN, SN, TVA Sports
Live Stream: WatchESPN

Team Europe vs. Team Canada, 8 p.m.
TV Broadcast: ESPN2, SN, TVA Sports
Live Stream: WatchESPN

Plenty of Red Wings in action tonight. While players like Tomas Tatar, and Frans Nielsen will see plenty of time battling in the trenches with the best in the tournament, Dylan Larkin will see plenty of time battling to even get on the ice due to Team North America’s questionable coaching. In case you missed it, Larkin saw just over five minutes of ice time total in their loss to Team Russia just a day ago. For a team centered around speed and skill like Team North America is, you’d think that shortening the bench to two lines would be a bad idea. What do I know.
