The battle of the unexpected undefeateds!
Fine, it’s just two games into the season for both teams so nobody is getting too excited yet (shut up, I am NOT). Detroit took down two Western Conference contenders in their opening weekend while the Ducks have downed the Coyotes and Sharks to sit atop their division so far.
I thought that after parting ways with Corey Perry, I might find some way to dislike the Ducks less than I used to, but I’m sitting here writing this game preview and all I can think is nope, I still hate ‘em.
