More points, more fun!
The Red Wings are riding high right now on a really nice 10 game point streak. We've seen Detroit find their game as of late and solidify their spot in the thick of things in the Atlantic Division. In regards to the point streak, the last time the Wings failed to get a point was November 14th in Boston. This stretch is exactly what the team needed.
Lineup-wise we shouldn't expect any changes. There are no forwards left to scratch thanks to the injuries to Drew Miller and Teemu Pulkkinen. The lines from practice yesterday are listed below. If anything changes, we'll update this afternoon. This is also Mike Green's first game back in D.C. since leaving the Capitals. I hope he scores a hat trick.
The Caps, however, are also playing some winning hockey. They're 7-1-2 in their last 10 games. This will be a real good test for the Wings. Both teams are hot right now. A road win against a good team would definitely go a long way for the Wings in the confidence department.
