Devils Blog: All About The Jersey

Coming off of a win against the Buffalo Sabres, I think the Red Wings are setup pretty nicely to win two in a row after tonight. Call me a fool because the team they are facing isn’t very good, but I have confidence.

The last time we saw these Devils, we gave up three unanswered goals in the first period. That was bad. You know what, it was worse than bad. It was the sports equivalent of shitting your pants at the fair. The Red Wings lost that game 4-3. Let’s not do that again.

Even though he was held without a shot, or a point in the last meeting, it seems as if New Jersey’s top-scoring player Mike Cammelleri will not play tonight due to injury. That could be a huge advantage for the Red Wings, who seem to play down to the Devils on a consistent basis.

We are unsure of who will be our starter this evening, but I think we end up seeing Petr Mrazek despite the fact that he has appeared in seven consecutive games. We will keep you updated with out gameday updates post that will come later this afternoon.
