Well yesterday was fun, eh?
No rest for the weary. After that crazy win at the Joe against the Bruins, it's off to Brooklyn for an afternoon matinee against the New York Islanders. Hopefully there is a better defensive effort from the Wings today. After finally getting what we think is the best six healthy defensemen on the ice, they took a big fat dump out there. Of course, Petr Mrazek didn't help either. Woof.. did he let in some bad goals or what? For all the times he's saved the Wings' ass though, we'll let it slide. It was good to see the offense pick him up.
Today will hopefully be a different story. We'll probably see Jimmy Howard between the pipes. Jeff Blashill said after the game that Pavel Datsyuk and Gus Nyquist should be good to go. Forward lines should remain the same. A big two points on the line today versus a team the Wings could be fighting against for a wild card spot. Just win, baby.
