Why to Watch: Referee-o-Rama!
Well the Wings and Preds lived up to what they’ve been doing so far all season with Nashville winning the first game of the two-game series like they’ve done twice before already. This time they’re even copying themselves from last time by doing it 2-0.
Detroit hasn’t scored a goal in more than two full games. Unfortunately they’ve also allowed goals in those, so naturally they’re both losses. Don’t bother fact-checking me on this, I’m sure of it.
The Preds continue to be higher on the bubble and potentially on the verge of actually buying at the deadline. That would be hilarious.
The biggest question going into tonight will be how this game gets reffed. Tim Peel got himself removed from the roster because a hot mic caught him admitting that he just really wanted to call a penalty on the Predators early in the 2nd period and well that’s not a good idea.
