After a series to forget against the Blackhawks, Detroit is off to Dallas for two games against the Stars. The good news is that Dallas has the same number of wins as Detroit, with 2. The bad news is that Dallas has only played two games because of COVID.

In those two games, Dallas has a +8 goal differential, while Detroit is second worst in the league with 8 more goals against than goals for.

As of Monday, Dallas is without Jamie Benn and Tyler Seguin, but the games against the Blackhawks showed that means nothing. The Hawks were without some top players, and they embarrassed Detroit, especially in Sunday’s game.

It’s time to get things back on track before we have to increase our bandwidth to handle all the comments that will follow another blowout loss.
