Game Preview

After a LONG off-season, Detroit is ready to get back at it against a team many feel will be one of the favorites to win the division.

Carolina’s blend of speed and skill will be a good test right of the bat for the re-configured Detroit squad. Will the new faces on defense be an upgrade over the players they are replacing? If not, this could be another long season.

The Red Wings are led by newly named captain Dylan Larkin, who will center Anthony Mantha and Tyler Bertuzzi, a trio that has combined to give defenses a lot of trouble in the past.
