Time for the fellas to bounce back. After a tough loss against Philadelphia, Detroit needs to win tonight. According to the diggers, there won’t be any changes aside from in net. American Hero Jimmy Howard will be manning the crease for the Wings tonight.

I’m gonna sound like a broken record, but the power-play is bad. It’s time they heat it up. Break out the toasters, microwaves, curling irons, and blenders, folks. This team needs some power. The only thing scarier than monsters on Halloween is how this PP has been this season.

Match-ups, match-ups, match-ups. From what I see, Brooks Orpik is a top-pair guy for the Caps. You know, the guy who John Scott walked around to score a goal recently. Gotta think that Pavel Datsyuk would like to string the puck through him like he’s knitting a quilt. Another point of concern: Keep your eye on number 8. Alex Ovechkin is still the league’s best goal-scorer and he knows how to put the puck in. However, get him in his own zone and you’ve got yourself a pretty little gift. Let’s go, boys. Remember when Gustav Nyquist scored a hat-trick against this team last year? Let’s do it again. Get hungry, fellas.
