NHL and AHL Playoffs 2015 Viewing Guide: How to Watch Thursday's Game
No NHL games on the schedule tonight, but here's a rundown on the series as they stand.
Tampa Bay Lightning vs. New York Rangers (Series Tied 3-3)
Next game: Friday at 8:00pm (Madison Square Garden, New York, NY)
Series Outlook: The Bolts had New York on the ropes with a chance to end it at home and were unable to get the job done. Now Tampa will have to win a game seven at Madison Square Garden against a Rangers team that pasted them in Tuesday's game.
Chicago Blackhawks vs. Anaheim Ducks (Series Tied 3-3)
Next game: Saturday at 8:00pm (Honda Center, Anaheim Los Angeles, CA)
Series Outlook: This series feels like an all-time classic. Anaheim has generally won more convincingly (last night notwithstanding), but we've had a bunch of games go to OT already. Let's see if we can get that for game seven as well.
AHL Playoffs (Griffins)
Series tied 1-1
Time: 7:00pm
Stream: AHL Live only
What to watch for: Utica won a game on a really soft goal in game one and then Grand Rapids answered with a powerful performance on the strength of two Dylan Larkin goals. The winner of this series already knows who they'd face in the Calder Cup Final, as Manchester (Los Angeles' farm team) swept the Eastern Conference Final.
