Today the NHL announced that the season was being suspended.

This isn’t too surprising given that the NBA suspended its season last night. Earlier today, the NHL told teams not to conduct their morning skates:

Given the uncertainty regarding next steps regarding the coronavirus, Clubs are advised not to conduct morning skates, practices or team meetings today.

At this point, we don’t have details on how long the stoppage will last. According to the press release from the NHL, they hope to finish the season at some point. We will update you when we know more.
