Just one game on the schedule tonight to kick off Round Two of the Stanley Cup Playoffs and to nobody’s surprise, it’s between the two best-rested teams. I’m sure the Habs and Bruins have been fighting to keep the rust off while they waited for the rest of the first round to catch up with them. I’ll be interested to see how the first game shakes out. The Wings and Bruins had a bit of a wait and they played the first game like a middle school dance (both sides trying to awkwardly feel each other out).

The B’s and Habs don’t like each other. I’m going to predict that this one isn’t contested as tightly as that game was.

Puck drop is some random time immediately after Rene Rancourt stops embarrassing both himself and America with his awful rendition of the Star Spangled Banner. Coverage starts at 7:30, but the puck won’t drop for a while after that. Just be grateful the game isn’t in Montreal, where they’d put the game off for an hour so they could celebrate the centennial anniversary of some long-dead nobody once scoring the first ever goal off a forward pass in the offensive zone.

If you’re interested in watching it on television, then it’s on NBCSN, RDS, and CBC.
