I guess if you’re going to beat the Blackhawks in the 2nd round, you have to sweep them, because they’re unbeatable after game 4. Of course, if you’re going to beat the Kings, you have to do it before game 7, because they’re a monster in the deciding matchup.
The Kings were up 3-1, but lost their first two attempts at closing out the series and now have to go to Chicago for their third attempt at eliminating the Hawks. LA is the only team to have beaten the Hawks at the United Center.
Since hockey is stupid sometimes, let’s call this one a goalie’s duel. Why not?
