NHL Playoffs Viewing Guide: How to Watch Saturday’s Games

Good luck with your nerves today.

Washington Capitals (2M) at NY Islanders (3M)

Capitals lead series 3-2

Time: 3:00pm

Channels: NBC, SN, TVA

What to watch for: The Caps are one more performance like they had in game four away from advancing on to face the Rangers. Isles need to find a way to overcome their own mistakes.

Detroit Red Wings (3A) at Tampa Bay Lightning (2A)

Red Wings trail series 2-2

Time: 6:00pm

Channels: NBCSN, CBC, FS-F, FS-D

What to watch for: Detroit had home ice and then lost it. Now they have to go to Tampa’s bad surface and give up the matchup game that Babcock was winning. The series won’t end tonight, but it’ll get real close.

Nashville Predators (2C) at Chicago Blackhawks (3C)

Blackhawks lead series 3-2

Time: 8:00pm

Channels: NBC, SN, TVA2

What to watch for: Nashville won game 5 in convincing fashion. That was their last hurrah. This one is done.

Vancouver Canucks (2P) at Calgary Flames (3P)

Flames lead series 3-2

Time: 9:00pm

Channels: CBC, NBCSN, TVA

What to watch for: Probably a close game. I don’t know. This is probably going to be my “cool-down” game to watch. I don’t care how it goes. I’ll be numb by then either way.
