NHL Playoffs Viewing Guide: How to Watch Thursday Night's Games
Day one of the Stanley Cup Playoffs is in the books. It was an exciting night. Let's see if day two can live up to it.
Pittsburgh Penguins(8) at New York Rangers (1)
Time: 7:00pm
Channels: CBC, NBCSN, TVA, ROOT, MSG
What to watch for: The Penguins backed into April harder than a drunk Michelangelo learning how to drive the Turtle Van. The Rangers won the President's Trophy. Expect stupidity.
Detroit Red Wings (3A) at Tampa Bay Lightning (2A)
Time: 7:30pm
Channels: CNBC, SN, TVA2, FS-D, FS-F
What to watch for: If you're outside the Detroit/Tampa area but inside the US, you'll get to watch this game on the Mad Money channel. The last dominant game the Wings played was a 4-0 shutout of the Lightning. The goalie who has a bad game is going to lose.
Minnesota Wild (7) at St. Louis Blues (2)
Time: 9:30pm
Channels: NBCSN, SN360, TVA3, FS-N, FS-WI, FS-SW
What to watch for: zzzzzzzzzzzzzz...
Winnipeg Jets (8) at Anaheim Ducks (1)
Time: 10:30pm
Channels: CNBC, TVA, SN, PRIME
What to watch for: The battle for Teemu Selanne's heart will rage on as the Ducks face off against a team with a defensive corps that might look the closest to the one Anaheim last won the cup with. Paul Maurice looks like Bruce Boudreau after being given the Thinner curse.
