NHL Playoffs Viewing Guide: How to Watch Tonight's Games
Tonight's games:
Ottawa Senators (7) at Montreal Canadiens (2)
Time: 7:00pm
Channels: NHLN (US), CBC, TVA
What to watch for: This series looks like a matchup of the NHL's hottest goaltender against the NHL's best goaltender. Naturally, expect one game to end 7-6 for no good reason.
NY Islanders (3M) at Washington Capitals (2M)
Time: 7:00pm
Channels: USA, SN, TVA2, MSG+, CSN-DC
What to watch for: This should be a fun series. The Caps have the NHL's best goal-scorer going up against a questionable goaltending situation in the Isles while New York has John Tavares, who is almost certainly the most underrated center in the game today.
Chicago Blackhawks (3C) at Nashville Predators (2C)
Time: 8:30pm
Channels: NBCSN, SN360, TVA3, CSN-CH, FS-TN
What to watch for: The Hawks are the favored underdog and Patrick Kane is back. The Preds collapsed late in the season similarly to the Wings. If Nashville finds their game, they're probably actually better than Chicago, especially in net.
Calgary Flames (3P) at Vancouver Canucks (2P)
Time: 10:00pm
Channels: CBC, USA, TVA
What to watch for: The Canucks' resurgence after the disastrous John Tortorella experiment is a nice story, but they're not as fun to watch as the Flames. Go Jiri Hudler!
