Reports are saying that the Atlantic division leading Florida Panthers are expressing interest in Red Wings defenseman Jakub Kindl:

This is an odd report, but for a team like Florida who is making a strong push for Stanley Cup contention, Kindl could definitely bolster their abilities in the postseason. The oddest part is that Kindl had passed through waivers twice this season, so he could have been had for free. Perhaps Florida is trying to get Detroit to retain some salary on this, but I think I speak for all of us when I say that trading Kindl would be a godsend no matter what the return is.

Perhaps it's just a speculative tweet on Fialkov's behalf, but Ken Holland has been trying to ship Kindl off for some time now. It's long overdue, but it's time that this finally gets done.
