The Wings made some roster moves yesterday. They are currently carrying eight defensemen, after calling up Ouellet, and have swapped McCollum and Gustavsson.

It will be interesting to see how ESPN does with the World Cup of Hockey. They did an absolutely phenomenal job during last summer’s football World Cup, but they also had all of the best U.S. on-air talent, and a lot of good foreign talent. The ESPN knows how to cover an event, but do they have the proper people to do that for hockey? I do not know.
