The Cup is in France and Nobody Cares– Chicago back-up and soon to be waived Cristobal Huet shut down the Eiffel Tower when he brought the Cup home to France. NHL.com reports that the crowd was cheering and chanting – I’m guessing they were angry chants because the few non-tourists left stranded on a day they wanted to visit he tower are probably all Montreal Fans.

Is 101 Too Many?Ruslan Salei played 101 games as a member of the Colorado Avalanche. The Chief over at Abel To Yzerman asks the question – is that enough time for Salei to be tainted? We all remember what happened with Uwe Krupp…this situation seems all too familiar.

Red Wings to play 2010-11 season at Joe Louis– Globe Sport: Hockey confirms that the Detroit Red Wings will play yet another season inside hallowed Joe Louis Arena.  Though if Ilitch’s bid for the Detroit Pistons goes through, it would be one step closer to a Pistons/Wings shared Arena in downtown Detroit.
