Quick Hits: The Larkin Injury Update Edition
In Red Wings Land
Jeff Blashill said Dylan Larkin (neck) will see doctor Monday in New York. "If all goes well and the doctor gives him clearance, then he will join us in Montreal." #RedWings— Helene St. James (@HeleneStJames) March 11, 2019
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, if Dylan Larkin is really that hurt then the Red Wings should seriously consider sitting him for awhile or maybe even the rest of the season. Everyone has different opinions on tanking, but it’s not worth potentially hurting Larkin further for a couple of useless points in the standings. It could mean the difference between a top two pick in the NHL draft (aka Jack Hughes or Kappo Kakko) or some much less talented player.
