This was my favorite Red Wings article of the day. It’s really is kind of crazy how we’ve already turned the page on an era of this franchise. I can vividly remember the Wings drafting the likes of the Gustav Nyquist, Tomas Tatar, Riley Sheahan, Tomas Jurco and Petr Mrazek. Those guys were supposed to be the next generation to lead the Wings. Clearly, it didn’t quite happen like we hoped it would. Let’s see if Dylan Larkin, Filip Zadina & company can write a more successful chapter.
