No roster players have to worry about their contracts, but defenseman Joe Hicketts, who skated in 16 games with the Red Wings across the past two seasons, should get something near the league minimum.

No worries for Yzerman and the Wings this offseason. Next year, however, things could possibly get interesting. Andreas Athanasiou, Tyler Bertuzzi and Anthony Mantha will all be RFAs and need new contracts.
