A well-deserved honor. Vladimir Konstantinov was a monster for Detroit in the mid 90s. I highly recommend that all Red Wings fans go see the Russian Five documentary if they ever want to learn more about Vladdy and his linemates. It’s a damn shame his career was cut short because of the limo accident. Just imagine all the additional Stanley Cups the Red Wings would have won with him patrolling the blue line next to Nicklas Lidstrom for another decade.
