Don't expect NHL to change All-Star Game voting format | Sportsnet.ca

Who will be the next John Scott? I have no idea. However, I hope it doesn't become a thing that happens every single year.

Don't get me wrong here. It was an incredibly awesome story last season and I was actually truly interested in watching the NHL All-Star game for the first time in a very long time. It was something fun and unique. If a goon/grinder/4th liner gets voted in every season, you won't get that Hollywood Disney movie story.

I don't really want to see Luke Glendening in the all-star game. I definitely don't want to see Steve Ott either (sidebar: suspend him for his spear on Zdeno Chara... that was stupid as hell).
