There are obviously some concerns that arise when a project of this magnitude is undertaken, but overall, the arena is going to be a great thing for the city. I cannot wait until it is completed.

The Wings were clearly winners with 15 scheduled appearances on NBC. Only the Blackhawks, Bruins, Flyers, and Penguins are scheduled to appear more times than the Wings. This schedule shows that the Wings still are one of the most popular teams in the NHL.

The Leafs are a team in need of some sort of change, and hiring Dubas may be what the franchise needed. He is young, smart, and uses a system that few people in that organization use to analyze players.

At that price, Booth is a low-risk, high-reward type of player. While his time in Vancouver was nothing to write home about, he did have a couple of good seasons with the Panthers before being traded to the Canucks.

I doubt that anything emerges out of this, but, if it does, that would be terrible news for the Coyotes. The saga never ends.

Roussel signed a four-year deal worth $8 million. He scored 29 points in 81 games with the Stars last season.

The Rangers wanted to sign Zuccarello to a short-term, bridge-deal, to see if he can repeat his success from last season. He led the team in scoring with 59 points.
