Cue the ‘Babcock is a Genius!” pieces, because HE PUSHES ALL THE WRITE BUTTONS! But seriously, it’s one thing for us to vote in favor of starting a 23-year-old rookie in an internet poll. It’s obviously quite another to go ahead and put the fate of a hockey team in the hands of said rookie in the Stanley Cup playoffs.

Red Wings realize they must play much better and can’t rely on Petr Mrazek to steal every game | MLive.com

You didn’t need the #fancystats (or the standard ones) to deduce that the Red Wings were dominated in game one. Mark Stone of Ottawa Senators has microfracture in wrist, status for series unknown – Canadiens vs Senators – 2015 SCP First Round

A wrist “microfracture.” A little Googling shows me a couple baseball players who have had this in the past, but not much else. I also read one medical opinion regarding the possibility that this was just posturing on the part of the Debtors because it’s not commonly used terminology in the case of a wrist injury, nor is it the same type of microfracture one usually associates with a knee injury. Either way, we’ll have to wait and see on Stone’s status. Feel free to weigh in if you have any expertise in this subject.
