The careers of Lidström and Fedorov should speak for themselves here. Sadly, many people forget the latter’s phenomenal skill and contributions to the Red Wings and the NHL. If we are talking pure playing ability, Sergei Fedorov may very well be the most skilled player to ever play for the Red Wings.
I like the pick too. A lot.
