You gotta see Tyler Bertuzzi’s goal in this one. Watch it. Look at it, LOOK at it!

Jeff Blashill Will Give Defenseman Jakub Kindl a Chance to Revive his Career | Winging It In Motown

From our very own @WingedOctopus, a great take on how Jeff Blashill could “re-Kindl” a player’s career by implementing a new set of ideals, and systematics.

Top draft picks proved worth at Detroit Red Wings prospects camp | Detroit Free Press

From Red Wings general manager Ken Holland: “The players you expect were the best in the scrimmages: Dylan Larkin, Tyler Bertuzzi. Anthony Mantha played good.” Good to see Anthony Mantha bouncing back after all of the criticisms hovering around his name. Oh hey, guess what? He’s actually a good hockey player. WEIRD.

Larkin could make Wings’ roster if Blashill wants him | Daily Tribune

With Pavel Datsyuk possibly out for the start of the season, why wouldn’t Jeff Blashill want top prospect Dylan Larkin manning third line center? Slava Voynov has KHL job waiting after jail, but Fetisov says he ‘got off light’ | Puck Daddy – Yahoo Sports

Slava Voynov could possibly move to the KHL after he serves his jail-time. If it were up to me, he wouldn’t have a job in sports at all. I don’t care what country. Good on Slava Fetisov saying he got off light, because that’s the truth.

Fantasy Hockey: NHL defensemen in new places could see value spike | NHL.com

Lots of names in this list, number two being newly-acquired Red Wings defenseman Mike Green. He’ll be working alongside Danny DeKeyser or Niklas Kronwall, so he could be a great pick for your fantasy hockey team.
