I agree. Getting rid of Ovechkin may be the best thing for the Capitals going forward. The problem is, how are you going to get him out of Washington? Although most teams would love to have a player of Ovechkin’s offensive ability on their roster, many will be turned away due to his defensive play (or lack thereof). There is also his monstrous cap hit to deal with, and his diva persona.
