Red Wings News
Happy Friday! Let’s hear it for the best broadcast team in all of sports!
Speaking of Mickey Redmond, WDIV-TV got an impromptu interview with the Red Wings legend outside of Michigan Central Station on the day it was reopened after major renovations. In the interview, Mickey revealed that he rolled up his sleeves and put in some work to get the old building back to its glory:
“It was COVID, and everything was shut down,” said Redmond. “I needed something to do. I wanted to help a friend, JDS Pro, who was in need. I got hired by Leidal & Hart. We came into the Michigan Central Station and, removed graffiti, and washed brick. It was a great experience, and really, to watch this place come to life and then, of course, to watch tonight. It’s really just unbelievable.”
Just when you thought you couldn’t love the dude more, right?
