Bruins: Boston can’t solve pesky Red Wings

It’s quite rare to get the opportunity to peruse the other side’s perspective with glee.

“It seems like they get excited to play us,” said Torey Krug, who scored Boston’s only goal. “For whatever reason, it’s a tough matchup for us.”

Boston had won six straight until the Red Wings stopped the streak with their second win in three games.

“Give Detroit credit for winning the hockey game, but I don’t think they were the better team,” Bruins coach Bruce Cassidy.

Report: Investigation of Coyotes includes 20 or more alleged incidents

The Athletic’s Craig Morgan reported this week that the Coyotes don’t believe they violated the rule. Per Morgan, a source said the Coyotes merely conducted permitted meetings with prospects and asked that the players “show up for the interviews in a T-shirt and shorts so that team staff could ‘eyeball’ their bodies.”

In case you think the story about an NHL team breaking rules about what they’re allowed to do with 18-year olds couldn’t be creepier...

The Coyotes got a new owner after this was all have reported to have happened. If there’s a fine levied, it’s going to be the other 30 teams paying it and the league knows it. People are going to have to be blacklisted over this.
