Red Wings Rumblings
Happy Friday, friends! We’re another week closer to the regular season, and we are all breathing a little easier today now that all roster players are accounted for. The Wings announced a seven-year deal for Moritz Seider yesterday, and according to Helene St. James, he will fly to Detroit Saturday. Unfortunately, Seider will miss Traverse City but will begin skating with the team next week.
Alex Chiasson… Remember that guy? He’s back with the Wings on a PTO contract. I don’t really expect him to get a deal with Detroit since he didn’t play last season, but who knows. You can never have too much depth, even if he’s playing in Grand Rapids.
I feel like we haven’t discussed it much, but Vladimir Tarasenko is a Red Wing.
I’m really excited to have this guy on the team. Feels like he could be a real game-changer for the Red Wings. We probably won’t see him return to his glory days like we say in St. Louis, but even if he brings 20 goals to the roster, that can be a big impact.
In other Wings news, Axel Sandin Pellikka is ready to play again, and according to reports, the budding Swedish star will be right back in the same spot where he found a lot of success last season:
Finally, since there’s not much NHL news, the 2025 NHL Stadium Series Logo has been unveiled. You can check it out over at Sports Logos dot net.
