First and foremost, I’m happy that it appears Dan Girardi is going to be okay. It really is scary anytime you see someone get hit like that with a puck. I’m not going to pretend like I know what is going through Martin Frk’s head right now, but I’m glad the Red Wings are going to talk to him and make sure that he’s okay. The kid has found a role on this team and become an asset. I’d really hate to see something like this impact him and stunt his growth.
