Red Wings encouraged by growth, depth of young players – MLive

“I think motivated athletes, motivated hockey players, are going to find a way to train,” general manager Steve Yzerman said during a recent media conference call. “Once rinks open up, they’ll figure out a way to get back on the ice. Shawn Horcoff and Dan Cleary (team’s directors of player development) are limited in their contact with the players but have stayed in contact with them from Day 1 of the pause and will continue to do so to give them guidance and help any way they can, get resources for them, whether it’s equipment or instruction to train with.”

I had to triple-check to be sure that this wasn’t already put in QH because it feels like the same article we’ve shared about ten times since March. Not much else to really go in on, but I dig the positive vibes.

Bruins announce player tested positive for COVID-19 – CBC

The team announced Friday the positive result came after players wishing to use the club’s facilities as part of Phase 2 of the NHL’s return-to-play protocol underwent mandated testing.

The Bruins said two subsequent tests administered to the player have returned negative results, and that he remains asymptomatic.

Gotta quit licking people, guys.  C’mon.
