Quick Hits: The InSeider Edition
In Red Wings Land
2020 NHL organizational rankings: No. 18 Detroit Red Wings - The Athletic ($PAYWALL)
Seider can move the puck, although I don’t ever see him as a big offensive player, as there will be stretches he can be quite bland with the puck. There are stretches he makes a very nice outlet pass with pace as well.
This is an ICYMI pointed out by an astute reader and it’s hidden behind a paywall, so be aware. The basics are that Detroit dropped from 13th last year to 18th this year (after a drop from 7th to 13th the previous year. Seider headlines Pronman’s ranking as the only one he has penciled in for top-pair/top-line while Hronek and Zadina follow him as top-six/top-four prospects. Everybody else is either on the bubble or at least legit bottom-six/pair.
