There’s a ton of ‘reading between the lines’ going on after Patrick Kane’s exit interview with media this week. A lot of people, myself included, believe Kane’s time in Detroit is likely over. It’s all speculation at this point, but it’s a conversation worth having as we switch to offseason mode. Would Kane leaving for another team make way for someone like Jonatan Berggren to get a shot to show he can be a full-time NHLer?
A lot of questions to be answered this summer. Buckle up.

It’s official – the Arizona Coyotes are no more, at least for now. The NHL bought the Coyotes and have sold to ownership in Salt Lake City. We all know the story here, so I won’t go long-winded. I’m excited to see what the new team getup will look like, but this is another big gamble for the NHL. What happens if hockey doesn’t work out in SLC? Thankfully, it seems like this owner has his head on straight and wants to do things the right way.
Stanley Cup Playoffs first round schedule
Here’s something bittersweet to share. The Stanley Cup Playoffs get underway this weekend. No Red Wings, which makes us all sad, but playoff hockey is always a fun time to tune into one of the best sports in the universe.
