In terms of travel, the Wings will have one of the easiest schedules in the NHL next season. Being more rested obviously helps on a game-by-game basis, but, at the end of the season, you are not going to miss the playoffs, or make them for that matter, as a result of your travel schedule.

Nyquist for Mike Green? No thank you. Moving Tatar or Jurco is one thing, but, Nyquist is, second only to Mantha, “untouchable” on this team. That said, if trading Nyquist would bring back a higher return, that’s a whole different story. But, trading him for Green would probably hurt the team more than it would help it.
