A rule that makes both complete sense and no sense at the same time. The NHL wants its players and employees to not have to work on the days surrounding Christmas, which makes sense. But, if a team has an away game on the 27th, that means that team will have little time to travel and prepare before the game begins, which does not make a lot of sense.
