Red Wings at Capitals: Rank ‘Em!

The Red Wings extended their point streak tonight in Washington. They had the lead for most of the game, but ended up taking too many penalties. When you give the Capitals a chance on the power-play, bad things will happen.

The Wings fall to the Capitals in the shootout, but thankfully pull out of town with a point.

Quick Thoughts

  • Tomas Jurco scored his first goal of the season, and you can’t help but to feel happy for him. Especially since the goal was damn good.
  • Jimmy Howard played extremely well tonight. First star for Detroit, and it’s not close.
  • It took the Red Wings halfway into overtime to get a penalty called in their favor. How the hell?/

Now with the thumbs thing as always: it’s easy, thumbs up for the good guys and thumbs down for the billy goats. You ain’t gotta thumbs everybody, you know. You can hold off on Mr. Meh.
