One third of the way in and Detroit currently sits on a 1-0 lead thanks to a late-period power play goal by Riley Sheahan. Detroit weathered an early storm and got their legs under them. Tampa had a bunch of dangerous looks and Mrazek looked like he was fighting the puck a bit, but the score where it matters favors Detroit right now.
Really need the defensemen to step up in this game. The ice is not in good shape and the puck is going to be taking some weird bounces. Have to stay between the player and the net.
