So there will be a d-change for Dallas from their projected lineups below, but no word on who will draw into their lineup. Based on their roster, Taylor Fedun would be a good educated guess.

Keys to the Game

1. Avoid the Box

If you don’t want to go down against this team, you should stay disciplined and avoid giving them opportunities to give you a licking.

2. Push the Pace

Dallas is going to be riding high off proving that they deserved to host a Winter Classic before Minnesota and nobody is going to blame them for looking past what the Red Wings are bringing to town. The Wings should play an uptempo and physical game for the entire contest. If nothing else, knowing that they were scheduled as the cool-down game from the 1st should help motivate them.

3. Make your Momma’s Proud

The mom’s trip is cool and I’m looking forward to what kind of goofy shit Trevor Thompson is going to ask Brendan Perlini’s mom during this game. On the ice I want to see all those handsome young men trying their best and behaving.
