Red Wings Stadium Series Alumni Game Roster Announced
The Red Wings and Avalanche will be heading outdoors in just over a month as part of the NHL Stadium Series. Part of the festivities will include the Alumni Game, a chance for fans to see their heroes and villains face off in a friendly game.
The rosters for the Avs' and Wings' Alumni teams were announced today, and there were some interesting names included and a few missing. Here are the rosters:

The Wings' roster looks to be a little light, but there's always a chance that more players could be added. Also missing is a coach, but no names have been floated yet.
The most notable omission is Darren McCarty, if only to see if he and Claude Lemieux would try to recreate what happened on March 26, 1997. We will be curious to see if Dino Ciccarelli shakes Lemieux's hand when the game is over.
