Looks like Håkan Andersson has found Ken Holland another gem.

On April 5th, it was announced that Red Wings 2014 4th round pick Christoffer Ehn was named best forward in J20 SuperElit for the 2014-2015 season. Ehn put up 36 points (12 goals, 24 assists) in his season with Frölunda’s J20 club as a captain. The Skara-native 19-year-old center also posted two assists with Team Sweden at the 2015 World Juniors.

Christopher E was tonight awarded as this year’s forward in elite team!

Congratulations and good luck to Växjö in semifinals 5 tomorrow!

I haven’t seen him play much, but from what I saw at Training Camp, and the WJC, Chris Ehn is an extremely efficient two-way center who has great forechecking abilities, and strong neutral zone acceleration. He possesses key attributes to what you would see in a modern NHL bottom-six forward. Ehn is currently playing with Frölunda in the SHL playoffs as a 4th line center. While he hasn’t produced any points, he’s provided the team with a solid presence on the 4th line, logging just south of 10 minutes a game.
