Saarijarvi posted four points (one goal, three assists) in his tenure with the Walleye. Most of the points came in his debut where he notched three assists. The 2015 third-rounder will join the Griffins in preparation for their run in the Calder Cup Playoffs, one they are considered a heavy favorite for.
The Griffins have had an impressive bounce back season after a very questionable start to the season. Newly-hired head coach Todd Nelson has done a fantastic job in getting his team back on track and competing their way to one of the best goal differentials in the AHL.
Saarijarvi has not seen AHL action since being called up from the Flint Firebirds, where he was second on the team in scoring. Hopefully the "Tiny Terror" Finn will see some time, as it is expected he will remain with the Griffins and/or the Walleye going into next season.
