On the eve of 2024 Red Wings training camp getting underway in Traverse City, the team announced the camp roster and schedule. Here’s who will be at (and maybe not at) camp.. And sorry in advance if it’s hard to read:
If you need something easier to read, just head to the Wings official site.
No real surprises here. As expected, 2024 top pick Michael Brandsegg-Nygard will be at Red Wings camp, and a decision is nearing about where he will play this season. I expect it will be Sweden, but he absolutely has a shot to make his pro debut in North America, likely with the Grand Rapids Griffins. MBN is one to keep an eye on over the next week or so. You’ll notice Mortiz Seider’s name is on the roster, but with an asterisk stating that he is a restricted free agent. The Wings and Seider are still working on a deal, and I believe he is still skating in Germany. The deal will get done before or shortly after training camp starts.
If you’re in Traverse City for camp, the schedule is somewhat of a bible. Here’s what the Red Wings sent out earlier today. You can find that here on the Red Wings website.
