The Red Wings officially unveiled the new Centennial jersey for the upcoming 2025-2026 regular season on Monday. The jersey combines several aspects of jerseys from the past, reaching as far back as the Detroit Falcons and Cougars. The team showed the new kits off on social media, along with preorder links and information.
The jerseys range from $294.99 and $315. If you preorder, you’ll get a free puck as well. Orders will ship in three to six weeks according to the team store.
The jerseys look great, though I am not a huge fan of the pinstripes. I love the brown leather patches, the front logo, the player name font. It’s a nice piece to celebrate a very cool milestone for the Red Wings franchise. Will I buy one of these? No, probably not. But that’s just me!! I have no doubt that these are going to sell well. It’s certainly the best “alternate” jersey we’ve gotten in some time.
